Hello!
I have an HP pavilion ZV5000 and this model has a digital media adapter for all kinds of memory cards built in. I used it constantly with the Sony Memory Stick for my digital camera but now that I have switched to using SD it doesn't seem to work.
I plug in the chip and windows recognizes it and the status light flashes. The "SD removable drive" icon appears under my computer, but when I go to open it a message box appears telling me to insert a disk into the drive.
I hope it is just a driver update I need for the adapter, but I suspect it just isn't able to read cards that are larger than 2gigs.
