Hey all, I honestly think the motherboard is going/gone in my 9860. After much deliberation, I'm thinking of getting it reoaured and buying a docking station and just using it as my desktop replacement, or possibly selling it immediately following repair. Before I proceed with this plan I'd like to clean it to make sure that's not the problem. I got the keyboard off and it was clean underneath, can I continue to take the next panel off without doing any harm. Should I take all the screws off the covers of the bottom panels to clean around in there? I've never cracked the case of a laptop so I'm a little worried that I'll do more harm than good. Will shooting air into all the vents be adequate to clean the dust out?
Also, is there a docking station you can get for a 9860? I'm clueless on this stuff.
