Hi All,

I have a brand new Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz still in its sealed box for sale. Price = $300 + Actual shipping cost (insured USPS/UPS) or OBO. Really need the cash

I am also willing to consider trades for any of the following parts:
1) AMD Dual-core CPU + motherboard
2) XBox 360 (Ready to negotiate for a good deal )
3) Medium-end desktop VGA card (Radeon X1600/X1700 or something in this range)

Thanks for looking!

Please post the week/batch code.

Also, any HEAT and eBay feedback you may have.

I have a naked Opteron 165 CCBBE 0610 and DFI Ultra-D that'll do 2.95ghz stable at 1.475v. The chip was stable at 3.0ghz in a different board but, I can't seem to get the settings right. If you are interested, be sure and PM me with references. I have heat under seufari.

Thanks

No thanks. I already have an E6600, I'm just looking for a stepping that will OC better.

I gave up an opteron that clocks almost as good as the system you are selling, and I just have to say, I doesn't HOLD A CANDLE to the Core 2 system.

Lol

Anyway, I do have some EBay feedback selling some laptops under username "keyurdg" and I have bought a HDD from "dlx22". If the buyer has sufficient Heatware, I will try to make the sale as comfortable to him as possible.

Thanks.

Hmmm, wk 29 eh?

I'm going to do some research on that batch and see how well they are OCing. May take it off your hands.

@ brent: Looking forward to hearing back

They OC better than my week 24, but not good enough for me to justify getting it and trying to sell mine.

Best of luck, and BUMP for an AWESOME chip.

Someone should snatch this up soon.

Well, I definitely want that CPU but I don't know if it's worth it considering I can get it new for $388 plus tax Canadian (without any shipping fees). If you'd consider lowering the price I might be more interested.

Hi...This CPU is still not opened from its box and its factory sealed. I can show pics if you like...It retails on Newegg for $318 so $300 seems a fair price.

Thanks.

SHAME on you for lowballing him. I'm betting TAX on the $388 CAD is not going to be cheap (at least $10-20, right?). Plus at the current exchange rate $388 is about ~$345 US (before TAX). $300 is a great deal for one of these. Heck, it is BELOW the wholesale cost of them (and I would know EXACTLY what that is )

Thanks brent...Thing is my situation has changed and can't build the monster PC I wanted to...so looking for a cheaper AMD based solution (don't want the crappy Pentium D's)

You can't go wrong with either right now, really. If you go AMD on an AM2 platform, you have a clear upgrade to their quad-core processor next summer.

If you go with the RIGHT socket 775 board right now, you can go Conroe or Intel's Quad in the future.

Personally, I would get an Intel right now and suck it up until Jan when intel puts out the E4300 Core 2 chip.

That thing is looking to be an overclockers DREAM. $163 list price, 9X multiplier, 200MHz FSB (not a typo), 1.8GHz stock speed. The way current Conroes are overclocking, that should hit 3.5+ EASILY.

Just my 0.02.

Well, what would the shipping to Peterboroug, Ontario be for the CPU? Then I can figure out what it would cost with the exchange rate.

I would go with the Lowest 1.83ghz, and just get the biggest damn heatsink out, just overclock that baby....and your set...to upgrade later

Well, the 63 and 64 don't have the 4MB L2 cache that the other C2Ds do. IMO, the 6600 is the sweet spot for price/performance and overclockability.
