Hi there,
I have a problem and need your help.
I've just bought a NEC Versa L1101. It's a nice laptop in genaral. But I noticed an issue with battery charging.
With other laptops, the charging stops when the battery's full and starts again only when the battery loses it's power (down to 95%). In other words, the battery charging threshold is 95%. It seems to help keeping the battery healthy by reducing the number of charging cycle.
But with my new NEC, the computer starts charging everytime I plug it to a power source, even when the battery still 100% of power.
I wonder if that kind of charging method may quickly reduce the life time of the battery.
In general, it's common for all NEC notebooks or only for mine only?
Does anyone have any idea about that?
Many thanks.
