Windows Vista installation on S96J or Z96J

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I have installed Windows Vista RC1 and I have some wuestions on the installation.
1. Do I need to install any of the original drivers for Windows XP? So far I was able to find only Video(ATI) and Realtec HD sound drivers for Vista.

2. HAs anyone managed to install the webcam? Vista has found and downloaded drivers for BisonCam NB Pro, and device manager shows that camera works properly, however applications (Skype and Icq) dont see the camera.

3 Any other comments on Vista?

Thanks for your help!!!

I guess you need a 64-bit processor only for 64-bit Vista. Or what do you mean?

Do you actually have S96j? Cause when I just installed vista and it downloaded all new updates/drivers, my webcam didnt work and sound had some problems. After I downloaded realtek HD drivers for vista, sound became OK, but microphone doesnt work at all although device manager doesnt show any problems and I tried all possible settings for microphone.

As for the webcam, I tried to install original drivers for XP, so device manager shows camera as "working properly", but camera doesnt work in skype at all.

assuming that all S96J laptops are exactly the same I dont get it, how everything works for you with stock Vista drivers and doesnt work on my computer after clean install...
