mALX Tidbit of info

Don't know if this is the same with all laptops but with my mALX when I click start then shutdown and the computer turns off, my usb ports stay hot. Meaning they are active and can power my usb fans. My fans will continue to run until I remove the ac power supply. But when I plug the ac back in the usb ports are cold or inactive until I boot up.

Maybe the fans continue to run until the system is cooled?

I dont know. I've never heard of that happening

Something similar happens with an HP laptop i have... the usb ports have power as long as the ac is plugged.. they dont get hot though... it's a nice feature, cause i can charge my mouse batteries without having to turn on the laptop

I meant my external usb powered fans I use for my laptop cooling not the internal ones. sorry if I wasn't clear.

I was using the word "hot" as in the usb ports had power, not high temp. Yeah it is a good feature.
