Verticle line through screen,very fine, wxmi2428

i bought this laptop brand new from the internet a few weeks ago, and sudenly ther is a line through the screen, its very faint and you can only see it behind certain coulours. the line is very pale red in colour. please help me.

also i know i am a retard for not knowing this but the keyboard on the laptop dont type letters but the icons instead of the letters. i jus need to turn it off, sumthing like capslock, thanks again any ideas r good ideas

if it is under warranty, just send it back, such a problem from the beginning is not a good sign

laptop keyboard has either a function key to unlock the sroll lock or the number lock
