best sound card for 5720?

Hi all,

I'm wondering what the best sound card for gaming laptop would be... I do not care at all about the size, as this is being used in a very unique situation. Is there something better than the Creative USB Sound Blaster Audigy 2 NX? Thanks in advance.

Wow. I can't believe that you haven't received a reply in this forum yet. Get the Echo Idigo I/O. It blows away the Creative card.

I used to have one of those. It sounded very good for the two weeks that it worked. Then it went dead and I got to play the redirection game between the manufacturer, the distributor and the shop - none of them would do anything about it, each said one of the other two was responsible.

After 4 months I threw it away as it was useless. Watch out for Echo stuff, it seems to be poorly made.

I would say the Audigy 2 ZS Notebook if it is for gaming. There were a few games that had some distortion with it, but I finally fixed it. Gaming with EAX sounds pretty cool.
