received my case-pc extra small for m1210. was it govtcheez or boweveljoe who wrote a thread recommending it?? I can't remember who. but thanks to whichever one of you guys.
i am very happy.
the fit is 100% perfect for the m1210 w/ the 9 cell battery, but it puts up a *little* bit of resistance getting it in (mostly just because of the way the battery is shaped. just give it it a quick "jiggle" and the laptop slides in perfectly.
the claims that case-pc makes on their website about quality construction are true; the case seems to be made of good quality materials. it has a nice smooth surface with an imitation-leather patch where the handle would be.
it fits perfectly into my backpack and i am finally satisfied to transport by m1210 in my backpack using the backpack padding + laptop sleeve.
i should say that the case-pc case doesn't have a tremendous amount of padding... although it has very smooth felt inside so as to not scratch the pc, in terms of shock padding there isn't a huge amount... but the protection of the case-pc sleeve + my backpack will ensure my laptop will remain very well cushioned unless i throw the backpack off of a large bridge, or something like that.
