I plan to buy a new notebook early next year to replace my current desktop and laptop machine (QS Powermac G4/800 and Pismo Powerbook G3/400). What I'd really like is a 17" Macbook Pro but I'm afraid the price is too high. As I would prefer a large screen, I'm even looking at PC laptops as the Macbook (reluctantly, as I'm hooked on OS X), although a cool machine, has a way too small screen. But I've been thinking : I could do without the large screen when I'm 'on the road' , so I could keep my 17" TFT monitor and use screen spanning, which will give me more screen real estate to work with. My question is : does screen spanning work with Windows as well (obviously by installing Windows via bootcamp) ?
