ATA or SATA

Hi,

I want to buy a new harddrive for my 8104 WLMi.

Which do I pick? The ATA version or the SATA? Can the 8104 WLMi even use SATA drives?

Depends on the model: if you have the TM8104WLMI-XPP (P/N: LX.T7206.086) you need a PATA drive, the TM8104AWLMi (P/N: LX.TAL06.096) has a SATA drive. If you can't find the model or part #, the external difference between the 2 is that the TM8104WLMI-XPP has a plastic lid, the lid of the TM8104AWLMi is made out of aluminum.

Pretty sure its the WLMI and not the AWLMI. You've confirmed what I thought was the case. Thanks.
