I got the Xp install disc, but I dont see any options for reformating. What do I have to do?

reboot--->ctrl 12---->boot from cd (assuming winxp is in drive already)--->delete all partitions---->install winxp on new partition NTFS.

Goodluck and hope you get it running. Make sure you backup everything you need before you do this.

I reformated when I got my Dell but have since installed two desktop Dells for friends and found just deleting all the bloatware worked easier with less brain damage. Of course there's still that pesky hidden partition to take care of.
