Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum in the sense that I have never posted here so please dont think im here to scam you, I assure you this is a perfect piece of machinary that you WILL recieve if you choose to purchase.

As the title says it is a Sager 9750-V that i bought in March of this year from PC Torque. It is in immaculate condition and still has 4 years of warranty (It is transferrable through PC Torque). I bought it for Grad school (I do architecture) which I would have started in September however I landed a great job locally and have put my masters on hold. That being said this machine is just simply too much for me to be browsing the internet and PSing photos.

My loss is your gain, i paid $4525 in March and the same setup is now $4300. Please see the specs below.

Sager 9750-V

-17" WUXGA Glossy LCD 1920x1200 with built in 1.3 MP WebCam
-AMD 64 FX-60
-2048MB 400DDR (2-1024MB)
-nVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX w/ DDR3 (256MB)
-100GB 7200RPM SATA Primary Drive
-100GB 7200RPM SATA Secondary Drive
-RAID 0 Configuration
-8x DVD+- Combo Drive with DVD+R DL (Bay 1)
-8X DVD/24X10X24 CDRW Combo Drive (Bay 2)
-56K Rj11 Phone Modem
-10/100/1000 NIC Network Card
-Windows XP Professional
-External 3.5 Floppy Drive
-7 in 1 Card Reader
-12 Cell Smart Li-Ion Battery
-AC Adapter with Power Cord
-Internal 802.11g Wireless
-3 years Warrany - 1 year from Sager + 2 years extended warranty from PC Torque (PC Torque is transferrable)
-Brand New Alienware Odyessy Messenger bag
-XBrand Cool Travel Laptop Stand

That is pretty much it, you will get every single peice of paper, plastic, tape, etc. that came in the box along with the original box...its basically a brand new computer if you can get past the fact that Ive had it for 6 months browsing the net. I have every conceivable app from adobe to microsoft to autodesk/discreet...my IT guy went nuts. I can leave all that stuff on there for you or format it at your request.

For an extra $100 ill send you my twice used MOMO Wheel, NFS Most Wanted, GTR Sim Racing and COD2.

I am "asking" $3500 obo shipped and insured to your door. Please PM me or shoot me an email at nikolicious@hotmail.com. My cell is 786-255-8382 if you want to call me i have no problem with that. I stand behind this machine completely...it is flawless, you will not be dissapointed. Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

What ru talking about? that machine has Netburst(tm) technology. It'll make ur internets 10x faster.

Seriously, good nik. I can attest that these are VERY well built machines and the cooling is quite sufficient.

Which would be the more powerful for gaming? This or a maxed out Sager 5950. Yes I know that they both run games well. But before I put down my money on ether one I would like to know with has the better marks. I'm a little counfuse because the fx-60 is a a desktop cpu while the Sager 5950 has a mobile cpu. Thanks

Jascias,

You answered your questions for yourself, the difference is the fact that the 5950 has a mobile cpu which are designed to allow the battery to last longer by giving up some amount of performance. This machine(9750) with its FX-60 prob wont last as long as yours on battery but it will DEFINATELY out perform the mobile cpu in the 5950 hands down. When i purchased this rig 6 months ago it was the fastest most powerful processor on the market, not sure if thats still the case but its still a rock solid 64-bit unit and will run the new windows vista along with any other 64-bit apps when they come out. Unless you were planning on playing games without being plugged in, which to me makes no sense for graphics intensive games, this machine is a better, stronger and faster gaming rig. And the option to have 2 7200RPM hard drives, 2 optical drives and a 7-1 card reader is also a nice bonus, the 5950 does not offer any of these, however the SLI Videocard setup in the 5950 is nice. If you have your heart set on a mobile processor I would go with the Pentium M 760, it beat the AMD ML-44 in every category of 3DMARK05 which is a great test for "gaming ability". Either way, whether with a 9750 or the 5950, good luck on your quest for your gaming system.
