Sager 9860 Overheating?

Hello there, I'm new here. I own a Sager 9860 and the weirdest thing happened. I turned it on one day and it didn't work. It gets to the windows xp logo, and the progress bar gets stuck after 5 seconds. I was told that it could be the hard drive, so I got a new one but the It didn't work either. I was going through the process of reinstalling windows xp on the new harddrive, and everything was taking a long time, until the screen ewnt blank and the computer started beeping like a phone, beep...beep ...beep. So I turned it off and when it was rebooting the ram memory test started taking a very long time I have 1024 and it took like 2 mins. So I turned it off and waited a couple of hours and then the ram test was normal, but after maybe 1 mins of going with the xp installation I got the same problem again. I'm pretty sure that it is overheating, and not just that, I can hear that one of the fans is loose and it might be not working. I really need some help here. I live in NYC and there are no reliable laptop repair shops, I took it to one yesterday and the guy didn't know a thing. I would like to open the laptop and check the cooling system, Ive worked with laptops and circuits before but Ive never opened a Sager laptop before. Does anyone have an "easy guide" or some pointers on how to open? I would really appreciate that. I called Sager and its too expensive to ship all the way to cali and pay for labor and parts.
Thanks !

There's nothing to it. Just turn the laptop upside down and use a small screwdriver and remove the panel over the fan that isn't working. Just don't touch the motherboard or any chips without grounding yourself.
