xps M170 NEC DVD-/+RW Drive Invisible to Windows

So, all of a sudden, my NEC DVD-rw drive cannot be detected by windows (or by NEC's driver utilities). It is detected by the BIOS, however.

My question to those of you who have had this chassis open: can these drives come unplugged? (cables loosened?) Or should I contact Dell for a replacement.. (I have complete care..)

Thanks!

Update.. I figured it out myself.

For other's reference, if you get this message in your Device Manager referring to your DVD/Cd drive "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"
