Fan Running Very Fast and Loud

Hi,

I have 3 year old N3510, and just today the fan started running really fast and loud. It running at least 4 times faster.

Is it getting ready to bite the big one?

time for taking it apart and do a good cleaning

Yea clean out the vents, there may be clumps caught in your heatsink.. causing your fan to increase it's speed to compensate for the bad airflow. Also when you do open you laptop.. if you can see if you can get some greases into the bearing of the fan's after you've cleaned the blades and such.. Should run like butter after all is said and done. good luck mate
