I have an Aspire 5040 (5044WLMi) with a X200M chip. So far the only drivers I can get to work properly are Acer's outdated drivers dated Dec 2005. I tried Omega's and they seemed to install ok but after rebooting I was greeted with a black login screen - so i'm stuck with these.
How often does Acer usually update their drivers? This laptop is brand new, has a manufacturer date sticker of Aug 2006 but when I visit Acer's download page all their drivers, with the exception of the empowering junk, are old.
Any other recommendations for X200M drivers that will work with this laptop?
