LCD mal function M50 satellite

Hi someone please diagnose my problem .there are these two ugly black spots on my lcd, its like the bulbs have burst or something they are very big size of a medal please help if anyone knows how do i get it fixed also the help center in my city for toshiba sucks

Was your machine dropped or was the lcd hit with anything before this occurred

Just to be sure, try an external monitor, but it sounds like the LCD panel is sick.

hi thanks for your replies i have created a blod with screen shots of my LCd please have a look .No it has never fallen of damaged in any way this is my first laptop am quite anal about taking it out of house use it more like a desktop

Wow. I have yet to see something to that degree ever. Even more odd is the fact that they are both perfectly circular in shape...

I would love to know how the hell that happened as well.

ya tell me about it revist my blog http://www.vooble.com/sharanm2005 have added a video of the same it freaks me out they look like crop circles on my LCD HEEEEEEEEEEEElllllllllllpppppppp

Honestly, I don't think anyone here will be able to give you a fix for that. The screen is obviously damaged and will have to be replaced.

Assuming you still have warranty left on your laptop, I'd phone up Toshiba Support and explain the problem to them.

I recently had my LCD replaced on my M105 (minor dead pixel/dirt issue) and the turn around time was just a week and they paid for everything including 2 Day shipping.

Good luck and keep us posted on what happens.

Actually, I had it fixed directly through Toshiba on their dime. The nearest service center was too far away from me to do it that way.

very cool! you are kinda lucky, from what i have heard, having a couple dead pixels is within factory specs

no i saw the picture. i was just saying what "factory specs" are according to manufactors. dead pixels and lcd's getting tab seperation is so common
