4750 just bit the dust?

My 4750 which I have owned for over a year and a half (and which I have had intermittent hardware problems with over the past 6-8 months) just bit the dust out of nowhere. I was playing Day of Defeat: Source and it powered down. No warnings, no beeps, no dimming of display, no pop-ups, no flickers, just a dead computer. When I tried to power it up I get nothing. Fans don't fire, hard drive doesn't spin up. I'm waiting on a call-back from Sager to have it RMA'd, but anyone have any idea what the problem might be? I'm guessing I've had some kind of power source meltdown but damn.

I planned on taking this laptop to Iraq and would hate to have to replace it. What does the hardware supply look like for this model of computer? Is it realistic to expect a repair turnaround of a month or so?

Ok guys I have found the source of my problem. In the interest of public education I will humiliate myself.

I should preface this by saying I have degree in information systems and have extensive experience troubleshooting. The number one thing I always asked my clients when troubleshooting is: "Is the machine plugged in?"

With that in mind, here is the solution to my problem. My wife or kid had kicked loose the power pack. The cord that connects the pack to the outlet came loose and disconnected the laptop from the power pack. In other words, My computer wasnt plugged in.

Awesome!
