That's pretty cool. Almost hurts to see that. Welp, I already had the Dual 256MB NVidia® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS - SLI Enabled on my order so no changes for me. At least that's one less delay. *wink*

I still would be calling to get a refund of that $400 you spent on the dual graphics cards.

wow.. now I really wish I would have waited to order it.

I wonder if it is at all possible that I could order a second GPU for free..

If your order isn't in production it won't hold it back much. I ordered mine on oct. 5th and they were able to change it with little time difference. they said around 24hrs. cause it didn't start production. guess I should double that quote lol

Oh lol. I ordered my m9700 back in May. I was one of the pre-order people that waited 2 months for it to be ready and ship.

man this is tempting...

Darnit. We never see such amazing offers in Europe. I bought my m9700 when there was a small savings offer of 180 euros, but we never get free parts upgrades, and especially not of these value..
Everybody who wants an m9700 should surely go for it NOW.

Thankfully I'm already in the queue so I won't get burned by the swarm

400$ american instant savings for the win.

edit: eat that whoever paid that extra 400 lol.

Well it took some time but the guy on the phone did help me. My refund will be processed in 2-3 days. Reason it took some time is he had to configure the system and compare it to what I paid for. Either way I'm happy AND it won't effect the phase I'm in. Hurrah.

wow that is F*eaking awesome!

I'm curious if its due to having a surplus of dual 256 cards.

I'm sure they won't do it for free, but you may be able to negotiate a good deal on the second card right now. Never hurts to call and ask...

Grrr, I just got mines too. Damnit. This sucks! I should have waited and have gotten free dual sli's.

I think the 512 cards are more popular now, and it seems they've got an adequate supply. I hope they offer the 512m card as a single card option soon as the extra memory makes sense for a single card solution with the high res screen.
Yeah that makes sense. I imagined people would either go for the cheaper card or the maxed out card.

would a m9700 with the dual 256sli, 1gb ram, and 2.0ghz processor be able to run oblivion in the highest settings possible?

I plan to upgrade to SLI in a few months as well as getting 2 GB's of RAM.
I already ordered a second harddrive of 160GB's.
