Greetings All,

New here and just purchased an m9700:

Was introduced to AW through an IT contractor during my tour in Iraq. My HP Pavillion laptop lasted my one year tour and crapped out when I returned stateside, so perfect opportunity to get a new laptop and thought of AW.

Looking forward to spending productive moments with my AW upon arrival (ETA 23 Oct 06).

Awesome! like you, I am in phase 3 and ordered mine on oct. 5th good news is that I got a $400 upgrade free before it went into production just hope it didn't push me back to far.

Yep...it looked good in the photos, and blue is my favorite color, so I'm sure I'll be quite pleased with the aesthetics. It should be here by next Monday (23 Oct)...not a long/bad wait at all (ordered 4 Oct). Already breezing into Phase 5 and I'm sure it'll go well this week. Should be delivered by the time I get back from my business trip.

Edit: hit phase 9 today (16 Oct 06). Guess it might get here well ahead of schedule.

Most definitely since I just got an e-mail that my new lappy shipped. Not bad...ordered on 4 Oct and shipped on 16 Oct...12 day wait time. Absolutely painless...
