the only thing i'm worried about though is whether or not it'll have problems playing games like AOE:III, sid meijers pirates, gtaIII:san andreas, and maybe some of the newer 1st person shooters on high/higher settings, as the 7600 is quite a bit slower from the geforce 7900 go from what I've heard...
thanks for any help

good question. I looked high and low for a laptop that had pretty decent power for everday business tasks and gaming. I really wasnt looking for a true DTR but something nonetheless quite capable, and at a good price.
personally this laptop suites me nicely. I play BF2142 and it runs awesome. There have been times where I've sat down to play for 5 or so hours. The gameplay is fluid and the response is great. Overall the whole package is pretty damn good bang for the buck wise.
NO DOUBT that the 7900 is eating the 7600 for breakfast. No doubt at all. I guess it all comes down to money.
I bought my 9035nr b/c I could get it right then and there. For me....it is not a DTR but something that can easily tackle almost any task.
The laptop looks sweet. It may not be for everybody...but I dig the glossy black and the imprint finish.
I've also played Splinter Cell Double Agent on this machine and it looks sweet as hell....but im really not into the 3rd person view. Counterstrike source runs like a hot knife thru butter.
HL2 and company looks really sweet especially in widescreen format.
Anyways....
killer bang for the buck, no doubt.
