This problem started a little over a week ago. Usually while watching movies or listening to music and even once while simply using microsoft word the screen will suddenly go completely white. At first it would come back after a little while, but now it takes a very long time/may not ever come back. I've attached a monitor to it that works just fine so I'm assuming it's not a problem with the video card. A friend even opened the damn thing up to see if I've melted something but found nothing out of the ordinary.
Any help would be appreciated (warranty is expired and I'm a poor college student).
