Qosmio g25 vs. Qosmio g35

Thread Starter
I'm having the hardest time deciding between these two laptops (qosmio g25 and g35AV600). The G35 generally has better specs but I hear its graphic capabilities arent very good and its more expensive, but the G25 has very good graphics (and the laptop itself looks friggin awesome), although its other specs arent as good.

Any suggestions? Thanks

I chose the G35-AV650 over the G25, although i always thought the aesthetics were much nicer on the G25. However, if you compare the specs of both laptops there's just no comparison. If you're looking at the G35-AV600, you might as well spend the extra bucks and just get the G35-AV650 b/c it has a much better video card (256mb Nvidia Go 7600), WUXGA screen, you get HD DVD player, and lastly you get a better/faster CPU. The price difference between the two isn't that much now anyway.

The G25 has a very decent video card (128mb Nvidia Go 6600), and you'll probably save close to $1000, but then again you're getting specs that aren't as good as the G35. It all depends on what you're ultimately using it for. =)

Omg, dont listen to these retards... the toshiba g25 has BETTER specs idiots... the g35 has a 1.8 GHz processor, g25 has 2.0 GHz... first of all... the g25 is lighter, it has a bigger hard drive (120 gigz) has better look, not all boxy and crappy looking, has touch pad multimedia buttons, not the gay stick out buttons, its a great high end gaming machine, and heres the thing, i have a g25 and my sister has g35 she just got last week. ive had mine for about a year and when we both play FEAR, i run mine on full settings, and she runs on default and i still have less lag after a year of having it and higher graphic settings... trust me, newer isnt better.. Now to top it all off... g25 got must have multimedia laptop this year and last and an editors choice, g35 got shit. Just go here and watch! http://www.cnet.com/Must_have_laptop...1-6391869.html

LOL, you obviously can't read and don't know your Qosmio laptops young grasshopper. Lets get the facts straight and clarify some things. First of all, there is a difference between the G35-AV600 and the G35-AV650. One has a 1.83 GHz CORE DUO and the latter has a 2.0 GHz Core DUO. The G25 comes in differnet configurations and does offer a 2.0 GHz CENTRINO, but its still not a CORE DUO. I must agree the G35-AV600 doesn't have a video chipset (Nvidia GO 7300) superior to the one offered in the G25 (Nvidia GO 6600), but the G35-AV650 blows the G25 away in specs and on paper. Aesthetics wise...well that depends on your own opinion and in my previous threads i did agree with you on the G25 aesthetics being much more appealing than the newer G35 Qosmio laptops. However, on paper my G35-AV650 laptop blows your G25 away hands down. I mean who can watch porn on HD-DVD and play FEAR at full settings at the same time w/o breaking a sweat. =)
