ok peepz, first i must say wow for all the effort you put in this forum (i just found it today).
ok a lil background. i own desktop pc's for more than 15 years, and know how to build my own pc and stuff, but i am totally new on laptops.
I got about 24 hours to decide which laptop to order since a relative of mine is in the US and waitin for me to give the go ahead for the buy. Mainly, the problem i face is with reliability (of the laptop and company) and sturdiness of laptops. I will be using my Laptop in clubs and not so laptop friendly environments since i am a DJ. I Will be mainly using it for live performances and some audio production.
I'm in between:
TOSHIBA Qosmio G35-AV600 (http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=4082944)
and
HP Pavilion DV9030US (http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=4138198)
Toshiba looks heavy duty, has higher CPU but less RAM and HDD Space.
HP doesnt look that heavy duty, and it has the air ventilation in-takes located at the bottom (which is stupid) and toshiba has them on the sides.
I am personally really thinkin about the Qosmio but i would love to get a second and third opinion on this from someone that knows about laptops more than i do.

and is slower because of video card. The toshiba has uneeded bulkyness and if your a DJ then the 7.8 pounds is light to carry. The screen and design of the HP is also better. I'm buying the Hp dv9030us tommorow at circuit city
