Soundz like you are screwed tridge...literally...

At first I thought you were being funny or sarcastic on a coupla of your posts, but now I see finally that you are serious and apparently trying to make a point.

You gotta pick your battles...Leroy said that first...

killin space with your infamous 2 words.

Sorry E... I've just cast some extra chi towards miami with the ambivalent intention for AW to send all stuff out on Monday.

Can you buy all that stuff somewhere?

Why would I want to buy the parts if they are covered under warranty?

My motherboard died and I had to send my machine in, they should be putting in the screws when they fix the mobo. Also, alienware does not have spare thermal pads, they only come on new cards... I was sent a refurbished card with no thermal pads so I will be RMA'ing the GPU when I get my machine back to get the new card and thermal pads.

You are right, they should be sending you the stuff and for free....but if I had that much trouble getting it and it was upsetting me that bad, I'd just tighten up my budget and plunk down the 10$ to get the stuff and fix it myself. If you want to wait for AW to send you the stuff go ahead, I'm not that patient though.

I paid for a warranty, I dont mind waiting as you can tell I have for a long time now. I am posting here on the forum because, as you can tell... I get responces from internet posts.

I have been contacted personally by Alex COO of Alienware on my phone. He adressed the situation himself and is getting it taken care of as we speak.

I honestly dont think I would have gotten the responce I did without posting my situation on alienwares main form of advertisment, the web.

Agree or disagree, it doesnt matter. I paid for a three year warranty, I am going to take advantage of it.

I don't agree or disagree with your stance tridge...I just remember you stating more than once on NbFs threads that you got the grease and pads elsewhere, soo that would leave you waiting on the four screws...ever heard of a corner hardware store or in case the screws are not the 'normal' type that Loews carry, ever heard of a fastener distributer? Maybe 50 cents?

Now the machine is in for repairs...

I'm thru with ya' man, ass shown!

Heres some POSITIVE updates guys...

Mobo fried and took the CPU with it. While installing windows the techs reported clicking noises from cd rom, they replaced it. while running 3d mark the GPU shutdown and overheated, so they replaced that. They also replaced panels A, B, and C leaving only D unreplaced. Marco said that they replaced all my panels for "Customer Satisfaction". After installing windows and running tests the hard drives were clicking so they also replaced those.

So all in all, I got the new revision of mobo 6.1, new cpu, new cpu heatsink, new gpu, new panels, new hard drives. (sounds like the only thing left from my old machine is the wifi card, memory, keyboard, and lcd.)
would that mean that your a happy customer onces more?

Okay, quick update...

My machine had another hardware failure while idle on the desktop not but five hours after I turned it on for the first time back form the depot. I called Marco and he imidiatly made a return customer out of me. I'm taking it as a Birthday gift. (So many problems with my machine this was my only other option - full refund towards store credit)

Good Deal, Tridge.

I dunno...I thought your initial posts were a bit over the top, but maybe that is what it takes to get a company's attention. At least you finally got some action, and now you'll have a brand new computer ( and a darn nice one at that ).
