Edit: Price drop!

My brother is selling his 7405gx. It has been upgraded to 1gb ram. It does have the cracked hinge problem (just the cosmetic one) and has also started flickering (twice this summer). Thought I'd put it up here first before it put it in the general For Sale section. $550 shipped gets it. PM me if you're interested!

Can you post detailed specs. I mean even your signature has more details then the posting itself.

Yes, XP Pro on a MacBook. I am both dual-booting and running Windows virtually. You can dual boot using Apple's free beta "Boot Camp" software:

http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp/

For virtualization (VMware-style), I am using Parallel's Desktop for Mac:

http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/

It is really nice and I use it for 95% of what I do in Windows. Certain things like ripping DVDs does not work so well in Parallels, however. Plus you can only access one core of the dual core system under Parallels, so if you want full power for something intensive, you need to dual boot. I have a mainly hardware-related site for upgrading the MacBook if you want to have a look-see:

Open back, you can see the hinge crack

Problems:
1. Occasional flicker (happened twice this summer; easy fix with hot glue if you want to do it)
2. Cracked hinges (purely cosmetic, works great)
