hi, i'm thinking of buying a pink laptop for my wife's bday. can anyone point me in the right direction where to get one? i googled for laptop skins, but most of them are not that good in quality. thanks.

Voodoo, Hypersonic, Falcon and probably others paint their machines. All painted machines are expensive.

Cyberpower offers different colors for their laptops, but I'm not sure if pink is an option, or whether the colors are skins or painted.

IIRC, I saw one on ibuypower's site. I think someone posted that here as a joke... give me a minute...

bingo! http://www.ibuypower.com/mall/notebook.asp

look at the bottom-left corner. it's a 12"

really though... smooth creations will paint any laptop any color for you, but it will cost quite a pretty penny. your most affordable route is probably ibuypower

smooth isnt that bad, i know when i looked into the possibility of a paint job for my xps they said approx $300 for a full single colour job, with more for custom graphics if i really wanted those.

Asus has the S6F I believe that can be ordered with pink leather.

From what I have seen (brown leather version) it looks quite nice. It's an 11inch widescreen laptop that has sexy looks.

I think sony migh offer some of their laptops in pink also, but the asus one is nice in pink leather.

I have a pink toolbelt. Pink is cool.

No help on the laptop, though a pink laptop would rock! (I'm such a girl.)

I'd go with ASUS. Pink leather? You can't go wrong.

Only one I could find. Quite pricey though.

Cheapest way to go it to buy a sub $1500 laptop and have someone like Smooth Creations paint it.

Voodoo, FNW, etc. are VERY expensive. I never looked at iBuyPower though.

haha, i keep telling my bosses at dell that if they just took a regular laptop (wouldnt have to have good specs - could be like a celeron with 128mb ram and a 10gb hd) and painted it pink, people would buy it. ESPECIALLY incoming freshmen girls. but do they listen? nope.
