I'm trying to configure a D620 that has the integrated Intel graphics card with a 2nd monitor to run in dual head/extended desktop mode. The monitor is a NEC 2010 which is capable of running at 1280x1024.
The machine is running XP and seems to detect the monitor correctly. However, when I set the resolution to 1280x1024 and click 'Apply' it defaults to 1024x768.
The NEC uses a VGA connector rather than a DVI.
Is 1024x768 the maximum a 2nd monitor can be with the Intel cad?
