What is the best dvd burning software?

I used to use dvd x copy express to make backups of all my dvds but I can no longer use the program due to their recent court loss. What other software is out there that allows you to burn a complete movie onto one dvd. I've tried dvd shrink with nero but I all I managed to do was create a few coasters. I just bought a new 8x dvd +/- drive but I can't use it anymore.

Just because they have court action against them doesn't mean you can't use it. It's still under license to you. If the program hasn't lost any functionality, you're fine.

Most DVDs won't fit a whole movie. Commercial DVDs are 9.4 GB, DVD+-R are 4.7 GB.

Nice name, maker.

I thought that was the case but when I tried to rip a dvd the other day, I got an error message saying that the version I am using no longer can be used for decryption. I tried using an older version, but that didnt work as well.

Ha ha ha you 'merkins, living under the evil empire of the DMCA.
We can use what we like...
We can backup as we like...
We can expose breasts on TV whenever we like...
We can go whever we like and not be afraid...
We can drink beer from age 18 whenever we like...
You call yourselves free? Look at yourselves - slaves to the machine...

I use Dvd Decrypter + Nero myself without fear of the thought police.

OK Aussie,

Take a pill, swill it down with a Foster (cause you can't handle real beer) and get a grip. Some of us 'merkins are lot less constrained than you think -- even a few Republicans.

DMCA can kiss my ; but, I'll have to charge them for the privedge!!!

The Day the USA makes a real beer, will be the day Elvis comes back from the Dead to play vegas one last time. We prefer to add alcohol to our beer up here in the Great White North. I'm from Windsor so its always a laugh going over to Detroit and paying 6 bucks for a pint of water!

The one and only Lucky Lager Strong. At 6% and less than a loonie a can, its every mans golden child!!

Fosters? Why do you think we export the stuff.
We don't want to flush it down our sewers, might cause an environmental disaster.
Much better to send it offshore
Bundie pretty much sums up US beer. Go to Germany - they know how to brew beer .

Off topic, but my favorite was Skoal from Sweden ( I think).. Good Lager expecially when it is real cold... Not like the American Bud (guess they get that foam from the Clydsdales)...

I'll be damned! It really was Elvis in Vegas!

G-Ohmaha, even your great Sage of Omaha - Warren Buffet, is selling out of the US. He has been selling US dollars by the bucket load. When a guy like him does something, I would take notice. I am actually giving a talk to a group of investors about the death match going on between the central banks of China, Japan and the US.

Been there, done that, and totally agree. Each little town and Hamlet has their own brewery. Now, what I'd give for a Litre of Lamms.......

Uninstall your copy of DVD X Copy and reinstall it. DO NOT go to their web site for any software updates. That may be what caused your copy to fail. As an added precation, if you have Norton System Works have it clean out your registry for orphaned DLL's. This way when its time to reinstall you should be good to go.

Hope this helps

Tim
