damn, I hate how this guys keep making crazy inventions to reduce battery life. Why the HELL doesn't Lithium or any other battery manufacturer create a revolutionary better one? these guys are lazy bastards.

if they could they woulve. its not easy to just come up with some super new technology. c2d took intel how long? 5 years

Thats mad.. Just got my laptop to the top and new generation stuffs comes out with greater and greater performance and features.. I gunna emty my bank.

Still those are great. But i'll skip to the next generation for now. Sure the second revised generation which will improve alot i bet.

EDIT: Hold on a sec.. This new platform doesn't have PCI-E 2.0? Oh ho~

What the big deal? Well I tell u, it isnt all about speed. - FSB 667->800 (performance improves, nice) - FSB Downclockable 800->400 (power efficiency, nice) - DX10 Crestline chipset (nice) - Encached Sleep States (power efficiency) - WiFi 802.11n (Faster WLAN, very nice) - Integ. Nokia 3G (maybe EDGE/GPRS support, ultra nice) - Flash Accelerator (0.4W less power drain from HDD, faster boot and wakeup, nice) , those for starters. Then add BluRay-R drive and DX10 GPU the laptop change sounds pretty sweet again.

anyway, Aintz again is the start of trvial and stupid arguments but let's ignore him for the moment. Moral of the story is, what are the chances that the chipset may be supportive of PCI-X 2? I'm pretty much looking to get the best gaming laptop (prolly a DTR) at around this time next year - a bit later however - and was wondering if a) a new chipset will succeed Santa Rosa by then and b) if it will support PCI-X 2?

Thanks

ok. i think you incapable of reading.
what I meant by the PCI-X 2 statement was: is it able to be incorporated into the Santa Rosa chipset between now and the ime it's actually in production or is it too late already. Aintz stfu.

wouldn't the inability to read make using an online forum redundant? either way my PCI-X2 questions still stands.

Someone answer Mike's question, because now I want to know too! Man if intel makes me wait any longer for Santa Rosa then I am going to opt to wait for the new Peryn chip . And if they make me wait too long for that then I am going to wait for Samantha! And if Samantha doesnt come then mommas going to buy me a mockingbird, and if that mockingbird dont song then mommas gonna buy me a diamond ring!!!

See what happens when your a jackass to everyone on these forums from your very first post? Pple automatically think that you're out only to cause arguments and piss everyone off even though you believe otherwise. Oh btw, I agree with Michael, your just posting useless information like every one of your posts, then get bitchy and whiny when people disagree with you, and then your only comeback is to insult people instead of getting facts to prove them wrong.
