Best ladies' case? (and external battery)

Hello - I've got a 15" Toshiba and I've been shopping around for cases. I'd love a good backpack. Any suggestions on that or any ladies' cases that resemble purses? It doesn't have to be all cute, but I'm really looking for one that's ergonomic and economical. Thanks!

Also, I'd love suggestions on external batteries. Tried one by APS and it really sucked.
