New T60 + Multiple Displays

Thread Starter
Just got a T60 for work.
The standard load to W2K -- Nothing like putting a 8 year old O/S on a new piece of Hardware.
I have been using this setup for yeard with my dell and no problem.
I use the laptop lcd as display 1 and my external LCD as display 2. I span the desktop across.
This is all elementry stuff here.
I am unable to do so with the T60. I know W2K supports multi displays. Is the issue the the video card in the T60 (ATI x1300). I would think they would support this.
When I open Display properties >Settings, I only see one display. The text reads "Display :
(Multiple Monitors) on Radeon X1300"

WTF ?!?!
I have tried several Video Drivers from both IBM and ATI but no joy. Hydravision says :
"The Hydravision wizard detected only one enabled display on this system."

Says to got to Display > Settings >Advanced > Displays ....
Must be for XP because W2k does not have the Advanced > Displays tab.

Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Chris

Try using the Omega drivers from www.omegadrivers.net

That's the only way I'm able to have multiple monitor settings since I use the mini-docking station with a flatscreen LCD display attached.

Have you tried hitting Fn+F7 and using the Thinkpad display scheme utility. You can create an extended desktop scheme. Just click <New> and follow along. I'm assuming it will work in W2K.
