Installing a DVD drive?

I just bought a E1705 and when i try installing Rome Total War when i get to the third disk the setup freezes, but when i eject the CD then a window pops up saying that the setup couldnt find the file in the disk . Well i just installed it on my desktop so i know the disks are not the problem. Back to the question, is it possible to put one in. It doesnt look like it, should i just get a external drive?

A single screw on the bottom, then the drive just slides out.

Thanks. I personally replaced the TSST drive in my E1705 with the Pioneer DVR-K06, and it works great.

it's your choice...but I've seen may people get credits for the inconvinence or replacements for that kind of stuff. Some other might have better info but I'm wondering if you should keep your old DVD player if you ever have to return your laptop for repairs.

That's what I'm doing znk0r. I wanted a slot-loading drive on my new laptop, and Dell didn't offer one. And this Pioneer also does DVD-RAM and DVD+R DL.
