All,
I need to send this computer to my Dad on Monday, so a quick reply would be appreciated.
On a new Hel80 computer (made by Compal?) - I installed the TPM (trusted patform manager) driver so there wouldn't be an unrecognized device in the Device Manager. Seems that this causes an icon to appear in the system tray and a bunch of processes to be launched at boot time.
How can I get rid of all of this? Shoudl I simply disable the device in Device Manager? Is that a 'permanent' solution or would it be re-enabled after a reboot?
Thanks!
