I placed the order for my Sentia on the 3rd and according to FedEx, i should recieve it this wednesday! Alienware seems to have whizzed through the process. Hope they haven't sacrificed on quality! Here are the phases that i recieved emails for.

Thursday, March 04, 2004 4:35:51 AM - Your order is currently in phase 3 (Payment Received)

Friday, March 05, 2004 4:36:06 AM - Your order is currently in phase 9 (Production: Assembly & Integration)

Saturday, March 06, 2004 4:36:20 AM - Your order is currently in phase 12 (Production: Quality Control)

Saturday, March 06, 2004 7:32:50 AM - Thank you for purchasing an Alienware system. Your order shipped out today via Federal Express. Your Fedex tracking numbers are included below.

Yup, I sure am! The only irritating part is that it shipped out on saturday and i will recieve it only on wed..practically 5 days.. thats even longer than it took to build!

Haha that sucks. Well post a review when you get it. They put me in phase 3 on March 3rd and im still in Phase 9 so I don't know what the deal is!!

lol thats good! now the fun part is waiting for FedEx to deliver it! They haven't even updated the tracking info since saturday nite.. it's driving me mad.. this wait!

I also ordered my Sentia on March 3, but from the UK site. I guess the Irish aren't as quick (or are busier), as my order is still in phase 4. In their defence though, it did take a bit to get past the billing confirmation phase as Australia is a 'data protected' country apparrently - meaning that the standard way AW authentiicate billing info didn't work for me.

FedEx Sucks big time . I dont know why does alienware deal with them. UPs is so much better.

fedex has better online tracking than ups, and ups has its problems too, just ask some disgruntled voodoo owners on their site.
