I have a new Toshiba P100 Satellite (2 months old) with one gig of ram.
When in word or Outlook Express, hile typing (even this posting I see ##!#
) characters countinuously are being dropped. To say the lest this is frustrating.
I brought the laptop back to Future Shop where Ibout it and he said it was not a computer problem after getting me to type in a DOS editor where the characters did not drop like in windows.
He seemed to think it was a spyware problem in memory.
I have Norton antivirus and also Lavasoft Ad-Aware installed.
Has anyone run into this problem and is there a fix without doing a re-install from the supplied disk that came with the Computer?
Any help would e great.

. I just hate when It's on and I accidently touch it why my thumb while typing.
