Possible to connect acer aspire 1350 to a lcd-tv?

Have an acer aspire 1350 (aspire 1355LC), which i would like to connect to a samsung lcd-tv. (Nice with a big screen, yeah!) That doesn't seem to work for me. Tried to a ctr monitor, and that worked fine. But when i connect to the samsung, it is all black and the tv says " no connection".

In the monitor settings there are no alternative for an external lcd, but for a ctr there is. I have tried to update my drivers for the videocard. So maybe it's not possible, but hopefully..

what is the model and specs of ur lcd-tv?

providing that the hardware is in working condition, which i believe it is, u might want to try different resolution set-up, along with the screen frequency

ok, resolution displayed in the manual for the tv says 1366*768. I connected my stationary pc to the samsung, and that was all good. The resolution is the same as when I try to connect my acer aspire 1350. 1024*768 that is...

Really appreciating your help, have been trying to solve this for 3 full days now.
