I've had this A64 system now for about a year, and I've barely used it due to the laptop I got. So here's it is:

Opty 170 $200 Stepppin... Don't know atm, it's currently installed.
OC's well, 2.95 max on water pcmark benchable, dice'd it past 3ghz. I have it at $200 since it will run FX60 speeds no problem 24/7 under max stress.

Sold!!! FX60 $430 Stepping... CCB2E 0608APMW


I'll part if most of the pieces are accounted for. I can't stand having bit and pieces to a computer just hanging around. The watercooling stays together though.

Also, I bought most of this stuff new, when it came out. So I'm taking a real hurting on the prices.

No offence dude but you can get a PC better then this with a 7950GX2 for cheaper.

Why are you posting that in everyones threads!??? The seller is selling something, he has a price, if you dont like it, I am sure he would rather you leave or PM him... Oh and on an entirely different note... Its to bad you aren't parting out, I have non-cc paypal with your name on it. I would have loved to be first in line for those PA's... I'd take all of the water cooling (for a decent price), if you wanted to sell it all seperately.

since you have a ??? around the FX55, newegg has em for 140 on sale, 200 retail, just keep that in mind so you can find a solid price for selling it

id buy it if i had an amd rig, so fast

I bought all this stuff so long ago, and havn't stay'd up to date with the picing. $140 for 55?! wow.

editing prices now...

dropped the rig $100, and the FX 55 to $150, since I couldn't find the $140, the lowest I found $170.

Crack, no offense, but common sense here wins the day as naturally that system with a 7950GX2 will be cheaper, as 2 7800GTXs equal out to more than a 7950GX2.

Hmm anyone know how much faster a FX55 is as aposed to a athlon64 3700 1mb cache? Is it worth the upgrade or shoot for x2?

Well, I'm gunna say that the FX55 is faster. lol. OC the sucker and you'll be happy. I think, lol, I wasn't and that's why I have a FX60, and an OPty 170 OC'd to FX60 speeds.

Pictures... I don't have the hardware in the case ATM. But I have some old pics, and this is what will look like when ya buy it.

oh, and the above was just a quick wire job, when I send it, there won't be that wire hanging on the vid cards, and the bottom cover on the case won't missing... you get the idea

willing to sell without WC? how much would it drop the price by? in fact willing to sell all parts - with the FX55 - without the case and WC. Same deal as before, how much will it drop price by?

Secondly why is the Fx55 so cheap? I thought they were only a step down from FX 60 which (while C2D took it over) it still a pretty kick ass CPU?
