hey guys i just got my alienware a51m like 30 mins ago and my sound is not working at all whats going on ahhhh whta do i do it's not on mute i already checked that.

ok no one likes to help here. well i called up and the guy was helpful but horrible english like a lot of the alienware employees that i have talked to. well it was the volume control on the left side they keep it low they guy said so many people call up and sya they have that problem

mellowwwwwwwwww...lol there's three quick things to try:

1. Check Device Manager and make sure there's not yellow exclamation marks or red x's next to anything. And make sure the sound card stuff is listed!

2. Make sure the system isn't muted

3. Make sure the little dial on the right side of the laptop isn't on the lowest setting (that's what got me the first time!)

P.S. nevermind lol. Didn't read the second part of your second post lol
