Inspiron 5150 For Sale - For Parts

The motherboard needs to be replaced, motherboard found on ebay for around $300. Monitor has "One" dead pixel, dell wouldn't replace it even when it was under warranty...not enough "dead" pixels. No RAM or power supply. Contains a 2.6ghz Pentium 4 Mobile, 30 gig hard drive and a mini-pci wireless card. Make an offer. Willing to sell parts as well.

Are u aware that Dell has settled the 5150 class action lawsuit by extending full warranty till the end of 2007, for any damage that is caused as a result of the their faulty power supply and power adapter connection.
Might want to call up Dell and see if you have other options...

Sorry HardRock. I didn't mean to cut in on your deal, but Dell just settled the lawsuit very recently.

I got a mailer informing me of the warranty extension about a week ago.

Maybe he'll get it all fixed up and sell you a functioning model instead of bits and pieces.
