Would anyone know where I could find any extra accessories such as batteries and power adapters? I've done some searches on google and various shopping sites, but i rarely find anything. Also, the ones where they do come up, are out of stock.

yeah i was wondering the same thing edd0e. i guess you could try calling up ABS or ibuypower and seeing if they would be willing to sell you extra accessories because the sites i've found all have the parts out of stock. btw how do you like your battallion?

Yeah edd0e, It would be nice if you could do a review, even if a mini review on the battalion. Let us know what you liked/disliked...I would really appreciate it since I plan to order one in a couple weeks.

Maybe ABS WILL sell me an extra part since it is available when you purchase the notebooks..hm..

Would the gateway power adapter for the 505 series work for the 1557? Since it is supposedly the same machine. It seems as though it would, but I dont want to buy it and be wrong. Plus its actually pretty cheap ($35).. The power adapter that was sent to me was a LiteOn, but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the internet..

If I were to get a ac adapter with a certain wattage, the laptop wouldn't blow out or anything? It just takes as much as it needs, or as much as it can get right? After all, isnt that what the adapter is for? Correct me if I'm wrong. I only ask this question because I see various 19v 3.42A 50-60Hz power adapters on the internet varying from 60-90W .. So, if I had a 90W, the laptop would just charge faster because it can get more power? Also, I spoke with one of the Gateway support people (in their live chat) and they told me, that their adapter (for $35) SHOULD work, but he couldnt tell me for sure. Now it was only a 65W adapter. I believe the one I haveis a 70W. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Get the APC Travel Power bag. I use my bag to charge my laptop and it works like a charm.

The universal power adapter that's included in the bag works with every notebook I have.

I have the F2, Presario 2810t/n800v, Hitachi Visionbook Pro and Toshiba Protege.
