Ohhhh... Helrow. I kinda wish I would have waited the little bit more time to get the Core2. Maybe I will just upgrade in the future and while I am at it go ahead and get that there new videocard that should be comin soon. Oh I have a 5760 too (forgot to mention). How are you like yours?
So far I like it. We will see what I think in a few days
As a side note, I see you are dual booting Linux. Do you have a second HDD, or did you partition your primary drive? If so, what software did you use? I was thinking of getting an external USB2 drive and putting Linux on that, but I don't know if the Linux kernel supports booting from a USB drive.
So far I love it. It runs hot, of course, but not terribly hot. It's fast as all get out. I was there was a way to easily toggle the track pad on and off like on my work HP, but ehh, that's pretty minor. I really don't use the track pad much, and sometimes when I am typing, my palm will brush it and cause all kinds of wacky things to happen.
I think 33 is fine. My only minor concern is that it seems my fans are always running up to near full speed, even when I am just web browsing. The temps seem good, but should my fans need to run all the time? *shrugs* Doesn't really bother me, but running the fans at full speed all the time is going to a) wear them out much quicker, and b) defeats the purpose of variable speed fans to begin with :P
