What would you do in this situation?

Now that the 9300 is working again, I find myself back where I started.

Dell 9300: Pentium M 740 1.73ghz | 1GB RAM | 80GB 5400 | DVD+-DL | x300 | 17" WXGA+ | intel 2200BG | MCE2005 | No Warranty

Dell E1705: Core Duo T2300e 1.66ghz | 1GB RAM | 80GB 5400 | DVD+-DL | 7800 | 17" WXGA+ | Dell 1390 | MCE2005 | 3 year warranty

Would you:

a. Sell the 9300 (this was what was originally planned, I'd buy the 9300 for my brother, and he'd pay me for it as soon as he sold his car), keep the E1705

b. Sell the E1705, keep the 9300, and buy a 37" LCD TV

c. Sell the E1705, Sell the 9300, and buy a 37" LCD TV and a SFF computer to do the Window Media Center duties.

Personally, since it sounds like you're in for more of a media experience than a gaming (with pc) experience, I'd sell the e1705 and get the tv...

Yeah that's really the important question here: What do you do with your notebook? If you don't game or you don't need the mobility, I'd go for the option #3

Mobility is taken care of by my T43. I don't game as much as I'd hoped I would...so the E1705 is just acting as a TV. Guess I'll look at selling it, probably selling them both and getting a HD/DVD recorder, since the LCD I'm looking at lacks a TV tuner natively. (Westinghouse 37")
