I will be buying a new laptop next year, and normally, it will be a black Macbook, as I have been a mac user for many years and absolutely hate Windows. However, I'm currently looking into Ubuntu Linux and considering it for a complete migration. In other words, if I find that Ubuntu will allow me to do anything I want to do with a computer (and for free, I might add !), I might consider buying a PC laptop since I can get one with a 15" or 17" monitor for the price of the 13" Macbook. My question is rather a strange : on a PC laptop, which always comes with an annoying collection of stickers (or badges or whatever they're called) like Intel inside, Designed for Windows XP,... can you remove those (I'm particularly interested in removing the one with Windows on it) without causing damage to your laptop or leaving any marks on it ? Has anyone tried this ?
