Any Condemned tweaking tips?

I'm looking for some tips to boost my frame rates. Whenever I hit a large ammount of lights, my game slows to about 10, then jumps up to around 20. It bounces back between 20 and 30, depending on what I'm looking at.

Any good tips of stuff that I can disable inorder to boost my current FPS?

The best notebook mod in the world:

Step one: Take the notebook apart.
Step two: Take a can of compressed air out of the bag.
Step three: Clean.

You should have no problems running condemned my first suggestion is to tone down graphics settings that can hit the systen hard such as AA, HDR, and any physics settings also toning down sound quality options if possible.

That's what I don't get. I had 2x AA on, then turned off AA. No difference? It seems like it was capped around 20 at most areas. It wouldnt even change unless I hit an area with light...It was weird.

This was what it was saying from FRAPS.

what if you bump down the resolution to something really down to the core like 1024x768 same results?

Alright, I foudn the culprit. It was the Fullscreen FX. I disabled it and I jumped up to 60 FPS or so, with everything mostly maxed. I still have AA disabled, but AF I can get up pretty high.

My next question is, are Fullscreen FX an essential part of the game?
