Asus S96J competitors?

I'm looking for a laptop with Merom, x1600/7600 graphics and a good screen. So far, the Asus S96J has caught my eye. IBUYPOWER and CYBERPOWERPC both have it for around 1400 dollars. with 2gb ram and merom.

So my question is, are there any other brands which have notebooks with comparable specs, build quality, etc. I would prefer to buy it from a major reseller and not some random website that doesn't look "professional". Also, I heard the x1600 in the S96J will overheat.

So far, the Acer Aspire 5680 seems to be the closest competitor, but no one has it in stock.

Hypersonic PC has a 15.4" with a 7600, though it is probably more expensive than the ASUS.

I was looking at powernotebooks computer and how the hell can they charge $50 for artic silver 5?!?!?! DAMN I could buy enough artic silver to build 200 computers for $50. Gen Tech wants $3 which is a lot more reasonable.
