acer 8204 can't suspend or hibernate successfully

I had done a registry clean and some stuff got messed up including my video drivers. So I installed the latest 6.9 drivers and now I can't suspend or hibernate successfully. Sometimes it comes out of it, but others I just get a blank screen and I've had the dreaded blue screen (hard drive physical dump..) a few times.

I had already downloaded the dual core/win xp fix for hibernation issue and it worked great. Any ideas?

I dont know, obviously there is a conflict some where. I would attempt a reinstall. Or start removing items one by one to see what is causing the conflict.

okay thanks man. Wow this new forum look is trippy. Kind of miss the old grey scale look.
