Drivers for 5051 AWXMi

HELLPPPP!!!!

hi guys

i just bought an Acer Aspire 5051 AWXMi Notebook (with aspire 5050 on its monitor)

i have just formated the hd but i have a problem, i cant find any driver for this nootbook, and it didnt brought any cd.

can u guys help me?

ah, just one more thing, what does AWXMi stands for?

tried this? - if ur model does not show up, try one model backward, one model forward ... http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/

I think all the AWXLMi represent the 14.1" model laptops. At least all the ones I've Google... there doesn't seem to be any in the US market that I can see, so I'm just making a guess

Omg go to the acer support site, and download the drivers for ur specific machine from there.

!! There are NO driver for the notebook in the acer site !! (25.10.2006)

Ok , these are NOT the official drivers, this was all search by me and tested by me. it should work until acer put the right ones on their site. its just a crappy patch.

Some drivers are alike for all notebooks, like audio, touchpad CardRdr..., the rest was trial n error :\ and 2 f***** days searching in the internet.

I bought the same laptop :P

Couldn't also find the drivers, so i gave ACER a call and they gave me that site.

Pretty nice

By the way, i think my laptop's HDD sometimes makes a simples 'click' sound. Do you have the same problem?

Hi all,

I have same problem with drivers. The drivers didn't support for x86 architecture. So I switch to 32 bit architecture OS. Did anyone knows for Acer Aspire 5051 ANWXMI drivers which support 64 bit architecture? Please help.

x86 and 32 bit is the same thing... You can go to each manufacturer's website, and look to see if they have 64bit drivers.

Like I said, go to each manufacturer's website (aka ur wireless, ur gpu, ur sound etc) and see if they have any updated drivers for x64. If they dont, then ur out of luck and have to wait till either Acer or that manufacturer decides to update their drivers.
