hey there,

here's my problem, ive had my i8600 for about 2 yrs now. usually w/ a 100% charged batery i could get 2-3 hr's out of it. now the power left in 100% charge has gone down alot. with a 100% charge now i barely get over 1 hr left, when its not plugged inr. thats also with the settings being minimal power and at lowest brightness. do i need a new battery or is this an issue with the laptop itself? anyone else have had this problem bfore with their laptop? any solutions? thanks

2 yrs is quite normal for battery to wear out - there r exceptions, of course
i recommend downloading mobmeter (mobile meter) and to check the wear level of ur battery

cheers ...

thanks i dl'd that program...

it shows 71990 mWh of designed capacitye in the battery

but only 21250 mWh of current full charge capacity, which is 70% wear on the battery

is it normal to drop so much in aobut 2 yrs or so? what could've caued it to wear so fats? any solutions to fix it? or only gettitng a new battery?
